Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger vs Keisatsu Sentai Patranger episode 8 review

We got a little more background the Lupinrangers. Kairi is 19 and his parents are dead. Touma is 23 and apparently, no knows his fiance is missing, they think she left him. Umika is 18 and dropped out of school.

The Patrangers tape a safe to Jim's head and send him undercover as a Gangler, while Tsukasa and Sakuya watch the bistro gang, to see if they're the Lupinrangers.

Good striker, on the other hand, is not having it and tells the Lupinrangers the cops' plan.

So, Kairi with the help of disguised clones and Kogure impersonating Kairi fools the Patranger into thinking Tsukasa is wrong about her Lupinranger theory.

Jim, unfortunately, runs into Gauche, who's ready to dissect some humans like frogs in science class.

Luckily, Kairi hears Jim's cries and gets into Gauche's hidden lab. Gauche and him, have it out we see Gauche's second collection piece, supernatural x-ray binoculars. By the way, Gauche's attacks are awesome!

Gauche cuts the fight short by enlarging Porderman, and peaces out.

After the Lupin Kaiser defeats the giant Porderman, the Lupinrangers talk to Kogure, Kairi mentions Gauche's binoculars and asked how they worked. Kogure says he'll look into it but he seemed like he knew and was worried?

Gauche said the binoculars could see everything the good parts, the bad parts, and she was looking through them at Kairi when she said this, Kairi is special, are all the Lupinrangers or even the Patrangers too have something special about them and that's why they're rangers?

I noticed a connection between the Lupinrangers they each could feel guilty. Umika felt bad about her friend sacrificing herself to save her, Kairi felt bad he didn't get to make up with his brother, Touma. Each Lupinranger is semi-responsible for their loved one being frozen, Shiho saved Umika, Aya was waiting on Touma who was late, Keiichiro shoved his brother and he was subsequently frozen. It's not the Lupinrangers' faults what happened, I just think it's an interesting pattern. Lots of people were frozen that, so why did Kogure pick these threes and not others who lost their loved ones. I may be reaching, but it's a thought.
