Lupinranger vs Patranger episode 2 review
Okay want to talk about the theme song quick, I like and it's grown on me as the show's gone on.
The mechs are cool and the red vs red chase was great.
We find out the Lupinrangers' loved ones were turned to ice then shattered and Kogure made a deal with them, gather all the pieces of the Lupin collection for the descendant of Arsene Lupin, and the Lupin collection will grant them a wish i.e. bring back their loved ones.
Which explains why they're so first mission, it doesn't matter if they as long as their loved ones live.
Can't forget about sombrero guy who walked by Kairi right before his brother turned to ice. I will have more to say on him another time.
I also wanted to mention if you didn't the collection piece are all based on things from past Sentai seasons, which I think is nice fanservice.
Speaking of the collection the Patranger got a new piece, Goodie Striker which can fuse them into one, it's awesome! I want that as my Halloween costume this year.
We see the first Mech combo Lupin Kaiser(translated in English to thief king) is made up of Lupinrangers' mechs and Goodie Striker who can talk for some reason, I really want to know his backstory but we'll probably get it eventually.
The fight between Lupin Kaiser and Garatto, was great, very cinematic. They make the camera work! In this show.
Almost forgot Goshu she resurrected the monster, I've noticed the female villains are the resurrector a lot, here, Zyuohger, Ninninger, Rita in Power Rangers did it so I'm assuming her Sentai counterpart Bandora did too and assuming the woman from Gokaiger did like she did in Super Megaforce. Between the way, Goshu's theme music is amazing, haunting and beautiful, also the effect when she enters our dimension, love.
And the episode ends with the Patrangers entering the Lupinrangers' restaurant, duh duh duh duh!!!
This review was a lot longer than I thought it would be but these things needed to be talked about. So I'll end it here, and remember it's a showdown. Sorry I really wanted to end with a line from the show even it was a bad ending. Wellđź‘‹
