Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers episode 18 Green with evil Part 2 Jason's battle recap/review
Previously on Power Rangers, in a nutshell. The Green ranger took down everyone.
The opening credits spoil the dragonzord, and shows Tommy unmorphed in the command center. Not too spoilery, since each scene is a second, but still.
Now to Tommy, who's acting like a grade A jerk. Bulk and Skull wanted an apology, for Tommy humiliating them last episode. But Tommy uses his evil green ranger powers, to throw them into a dumpster. Personally I think it's karma for them putting Billy in a trash can, a few episodes ago. So it wasn't too evil what Tommy did, but still not nice. Then, when Kimberly asked why he didn't show yesterday. He pretty much tell her, he has better things to do, and she should get over herself. So understandingly she walks off, hurt and mad.
Rita want to give Tommy the sword of darkness, a weapon that will put him under her control forever, unless it's destroyed. Zordon knows this, but he's out of commission, it doesn't matter.
But before he can get the sword of darkness, he must earn it. Tommy faces off against some putties again, and when victorious, he receives the sword.
When Jason cancels his workout session with Tommy. Tommy blindsides him, teleporting Jason to Goldar's dimension.
Jason is in big trouble, the dimension's bars are electrified, communications are still down and Goldar has his power morpher. All things said, Jason's hosed.
Meanwhile his fellow rangers locate the green ranger, but don't want leave without Jason. Zack tries the communicator, but no luck. So while Alpha tries to get in touch with Jason. The others morph to fight the green ranger. Which doesn't go well.
The rangers are fighting a losing battle, so that call on their zords. All but the tyrannosaurus, but when they form the megazord it appears, but whatever. Tommy runs away, knowing he's no match for a megazord.
Afterwards Alpha is able to make contact with Zordon. Though it keeps going in and out. But at least they're making progress.
Back in Goldar's dimension he continues to toy with Jason. He places Jason's morpher on the ground, daring him to take it. And the episode ends with Goldar about to kill Jason. I'm destroy, not kill. We're not allowed to use that word on the show.
This was good, though I liked last episode better. So much action and craziness, but there was still a lot of action and drama in this episode. Rita, Goldar, and the green ranger seems unstoppable right now. Can they be stopped find next on Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers reviews.
