Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Episode 20 Green with evil Part 4 Eclipsing Megazord recap/review
So last time Jason narrowly escaped death twice. Kimberly and Zack were suspicious of Tommy. The power rangers meet a new foe Scorpina. And Rita sends Goldar to attack Angel Grove.
The rangers try to morph, but can't due a power outage effecting the morphing grid.
And while they can't morph, Goldar lays waste to Angel Grove. But thanks to Billy's genius, the problem is fixed. And the rangers leap into battle. When they arrive they're confront by Scorpina, who wipes the floor with them. Not to mention Goldar tries to stomp on them.
Meanwhile the green ranger broke into the command center again. He turns off Alpha, and cuts off Zordon's connection again. But hey if it's not broke, don't fix it.
Well it might be a little broke, because Alpha's backup system kicks in, and he traps green ranger in a force field.
Back in Angel Grove, Goldar picks up a bus, containing Bulk and Skull, and the green ranger before being captured managed to teleport the rangers.
They look for the bus, which is on a cliff, being shaken by Squat, Baboo, and putties.
The rangers finally call their zords. Which they should had done from the beginning.
They summon the megazord, and are able to save Bulk and Skull. Though Rita creates an eclipse making the megazord lose power.
Rita makes Scorpina grow. Which makes her turn into a full scorpion monster, stinger and all.
The rangers are getting pummeled, so they call for the power sword. They're able to turn the battle into their favor.
But Rita uses her magic to free green ranger, and turn him giant. The megazord's not strong even at the moment to beat green ranger. And with a sting from Scorpina. Goldar and green ranger defeat the megazord.
The rangers are knocked out of the megazord, and demorphed. The megazord falls into a chasm(And apparently the zord disconnect), and the zords are lost.
At the command center lament that it's over Rita has won. But Jason and Alpha won't accept that.
Before they can continue talking, computer goes off. Alpha says it has discovered the green ranger true identity, and shows it on the viewing globe.
The rangers are stunned to learn the green ranger is Tommy. And the episode ends.
It's been a while since I watched Green With Evil, so I was shocked couple times during the episode. Like the green rangers went giant I didn't remember that. And I forgot the zords are destroyed, until I saw the rangers fall out of the megazord, then I remembered.
Great the rangers Tommy is the green rangers. Side note: Tommy's really good at being evil, he's done been than all of Rita's monsters combined(Sorry Finster).
Also Rita why didn't you do this from the start, you couldn't scour the globe for a green ranger, had to wait till one fell in your lap(Sighs). I expect better from the so-called Empress of evil.
A lot of stuff happened in this episode, but not a lot to talk about.
