Flowers with teeth this episode, in a nutshell.

Kimberly is ecstatic, a float she designed is gonna be in the Angel Grove parade.

Rita being the villain she is can't let that happen. She sends putties, to destroy the model float.

Kimberly is devastated, her float is ruined, and the deadline is today.

So the rangers try to consoles, while Tommy goes to do something.

The spit flower, attacks and turns flowers into carnivorous blossoms.

The rangers show up, but are no match. And Rita makes the spit flower grow.

So Zordon calls the heavy hitter, Tommy.

The green ranger joins the battle, and the rangers form the mega dragonzord. But that isn't enough to finish spit flower.

And Zordon calls them back, to the command center

The spit flower shrunk back, to normal size. And is going on a rampage. Even though it could had done an even bigger rampage, if it stayed giant. But that's just my opinion, and fact.

Zordon tells the rangers of spit flower's weakness, and the rangers head back into the fight. Except Tommy because no Sentai footage, I assume.

Kimberly who's still bummed, doesn't want to. Until surprise, her float is in the parade. Thanks to Tommy who, with a little help from Alpha, rebuilt the model in time.

Kimberly hugs Tommy in thanks. And was the beginning, of a totally non romantic, purely platonic, friendship.
