Mighty morphin' power rangers episode 23 Gung Ho! review
Haven't posted in five weeks, I've barely been watching anything, but that's about to change. As I'm going to marathon MMPR this week. So without further ado into the episode.
The plot of the episode is Jason and Tommy learning, to Gung ho!
They have a team ninja competition, but are more focused on showing the other up than working together.
Which is especially bad, since their opponents are ninjas. Managed by Bulk, where did he find the guys?
Anyway they're amazing, and in complete sync. The latter Tommy and Jason need to work on.
At the same time Finster is creating super putties
The rangers can't beat the super putties, so they teleport to the command. Where Zordon tells him of weapons that can defeat the super putties. Zordon sends Jason and Tommy to receive the weapons, while the others deal with the super putties.
Jason and Tommy fight for a little bit, before Titanus shows up, and attacks them.
Jason gives Tommy his power sword, and Tommy gives Jason his his shield, which was awesome. Tommy draws Titanus' attention, while Jason gets the weapons, which had Zyuranger written on them.
They arriving just in, as their fellow rangers are losing bad. They hand out the blasters, and the super putties are taken out in seconds.
So now that Jason and Tommy learned teamwork, it's time for the team ninja competition.
Oblivious Jason and Tommy killed it.
This episode was fine. Seeing Jason with Tommy's shield was awesome. And I noticed Frankenstein in background when Finster was making the super putties.
Also really Zordon, you had Titanus attack Tommy and Jason, so they would learn teamwork. What if they hadn't learned to Gung ho!, the other rangers would had been toast. Was teaching them a lesson really worth, risking Rita taking over the Earth?
