Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers episode 24 Island of illusions Part 1 review

Time for another multi parter.

Welcome to the Island of illusion, where self doubt leads to oblivion.

Zack's entering a dance competition, but doesn't think he'll win, and walks off.

Rita summoning Lokar, and Mutitus, causing chaos. The rangers minus who has to watch his students, go to find Zack.

When they do putties, Goldar and Scorpina attack, then Mutitus joins in. So the rangers morph, call their zords and form the megazord.

Mutitus is a good match for the rangers, but that's not enough for Rita, she appears and calls for Lokar who's breath mutated Mutitus into an more powerful monster.

And when the rangers are down, Tommy shows up, calling the dragonzord. But even with its help Mutitus is winning, and he sprays them with toxic mold, bringing down the zords.

Rita sends them to the Island of Illusion. Their communicators and morphers are gone, so they're on their own and powerless.

After walking around, scared out their minds, until they run into Quagmire. Who thinks they work for Rita, and disappears.

The rangers are confronted by monsters they defeated, but are revealed as illusions.

Goldar's face appears in the sky, telling them of the island's power to create illusions.

Zack runs off, and has a freakout when he sees a snake, which is an illusion.

The rangers tell him it's not real, Billy saying Rita's trying to make them doubt themselves.

Once Zack realizes, he resolves he they can't win, and starts fading.

Quagmire appears saying, the more his self confidence decreases, the more he disappears.

And the episode ends, with Goldar taunting the rangers, proclaiming they will all fade away.

I like the island of illusions, it's a fun way to mess with the Rangers heads. And it's Rita's most cerebral plan yet.

We know Zack dislikes animals, people commonly dislike, spiders, mice, and now we can add snakes to the list.

Those kids Tommy was watching, where are their parents, why didn't he call them?
